Going to the County Fair.

We can't believe that summer is almost over.  It always goes by too fast. We are looking forward to Fall and all the fun holidays it brings.

Portland Vacation

We decided to take a little vacation up to Oregon in July. We all wanted to get away and wanted to sit on the beach, so we decided to head to Portland. We left early in the morning and drove all the way in one day. Emily did so amazing in the car. We were a little worried, but she was a good girl.

On our first day we walked around downtown Portland, played at the park and of course stopped in at VooDoo Donuts for a little treat!

On the second day we headed to the coast. Emily had never seen the ocean before and it was so great to watch her put her feet in the water. She was a little hesitant at first but then was unstoppable. We walked the boardwalk and stopped in at an aquarium where she got to hold a star fish.

On our last day we went to Multnomah Falls on our way out of town. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We have a picture of it hanging in our house and its not even close to how amazing it really is.
It was a short getaway but so much fun. We love our little family and enjoy spending time with each other. On the way back we stopped in Boise for the night. Emily loves to play Tea Party and made her own tea set with the coffee maker. Two year olds can play with anything.

Portland was so beautiful. Hopefully we can go back soon.

But not as beautiful as this cute girl!

4th of July

We had such a fun day. We went to the Murray parade, had a BBQ with family and then went to Murray Park for fireworks. It's a day full of traditions and fun. It's always a day to look forward to.
