Countdown to Christmas

We have been getting ready for Christmas by doing lots of fun things.  This year has been so great watching Emily experience things she has never done before. I hope we can build many traditions for her that she will look forward to every year.

 

We made snowflakes.

 Hung ornaments on the Christmas tree.

 Wrote a letter to Santa to tell him we wanted a Minnie Mouse Baby!

 Travis wore his very best Ugly Christmas sweater!

Built a snowman and played in the Snow for the first time.

Went Christmas shopping and tried on all the hats!

 Built gingerbread houses and a home depot store!

Thanksgiving

We decided to celebrate Thanksgiving at our new house this year and had both families over for dinner. It was a great holiday full of good family and wonderful family. It was fun to have everyone together.

October 2012

We had a busy October full of lots of fun things and family time.

 

The girls all went to Gardner Village to see all the "scary" witches.

We had a family day in Park City, with Hilary, Justin, Grandma and Pa!

 

 

We decorated pumpkins!

 

 

We went to the Zoo with Grandma.

 

Emily got a phone call from Minnie Mouse.

Emily loves to get all dressed up now! Loving the combinations she put together.

Went trunk or treating in our neighborhood.

Got to play with Aunt Hilary and dress up like Cinderella.

 

Mom and Dad got to get away for a quick trip to Denver for the Broncos game.

 

 

 Dressed up for the Halloween Party at school.

 

Played with friends in Nursery.  

Went trick or treating and had a great Halloween.

The Pumpkin Patch

Backyard camp out

We decided to camp out in the backyard over Labor Day weekend. It was lots of fun roasting marshmallows with family and playing in the tent. Emily lasted about an hour sleeping outside and then wanted to go sleep in her own bed! We didn't last much longer since the rain picked up and the thunder was so loud. It was a nice try and fun while it lasted.
