Christmas

We had a great Christmas, as always. This was Emily's first and she definitely made it so fun. I wasn't sure how she was going to handle the day, if she would be overwhelmed or just not interested. You would have thought she knew exactly what it was about. She was hyper and happy the whole day. She wouldn't even nap because she just wanted to play with all her new toys.
I love this picture- they were both in the middle of everything all day long.

Emily loving all her new toys....and food.

Hudson posing in front of the Christmas Tree.

Emily loves babies so much, she couldn't wait to kiss her till we got her out of the package!

Em hoped from one toy to the next all day long...and yes she did have a few outfit changes!

It was so nice to spend time with family all weekend and to watch how excited Emily was over everything. It really made the day more fun. We are so thankful for our families, for all they do for us, and for our great friends who we got to share the day with as well.
We hope that everyone had a great holiday.

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken back in October but didnt want to post them till after Christmas. They turned out really cute, and of course Emily is adorable in all of them! She loves getting her picture taken...can you tell?

10 months old

Emily is ready for Christmas, I think she is really going to love all the presents on Christmas, even though she may be more interested in the boxes.
She has become so busy this last month. She is crawling everywhere, walking around the furniture and climbing stairs. She is learning and growing everyday.
I can't believe she is already 10 months old. Her first birthday is just around the corner. Time needs to slow down.

The Tired Turkey

Turkey lay there on the table
Turkey big and brown
But when we went to cook him...
He was nowhere to be found.
We looked all through the kitchen
And searched the pantry well.
We asked Jim and John about it...
and even Annabelle.
And even little Mary
and she said "Tourse I do.
Poor turkey didn't feel so good
Because he lost his head,
So I put my jammies on him
And tucked him in my bed!"

This was my favorite Thanksgiving Day poem that I learned in Kindergarten. Thank you Mrs. Burton for teaching me something that stuck with my 22 years later!

Turkey Shirt

I saw this shirt on a website and thought that since there was no sewing needed I could maybe do this...so this is my attempt at being creative.

BEFORE
AFTER

My little model, she doesnt care that the feathers arent the same size or the eyes are a little crooked. Thats why I love her.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY.

9 Months Old

My baby is already 9 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes. She is so busy these days, she loves to explore new things. She is very loving, gives hugs and kisses and loves to snuggle. She is so sweet and just the greatest thing in our life right now.
We love you Em, Happy 9 months.

A Good Witch

I took Emily over to Gardner Village for some pictures. She was so preoccupied by everything that she couldnt concentrate on smiling for the camera! She is so busy these days. She loved Halloween and got so excited everytime the kids came to the door.

We also, as a family went as the Flintstones...pictures to come.

The Zoo

Travis and I took Emily to the Zoo this weekend. It was so much fun. I'm not really sure what Emily liked most...looking at the animals or all the people. Every kid has to have this photo!

Yup, she is bigger then a baby ape! ( I love her smile, this is her new Cabbage Patch Doll look)

Making friends with the big monkey!

Travis took all the awesome animal pictures!

Emily wasn't very excited about the sun in her face.

Riding the train...it sure seems like the ride gets shorter the older I get.

Of course Emily had to have a souvenir. She left with a cute baby elephant.
We had a great time. I hope to be able to go to Zoo lights this year, maybe by then Emily may be a little more into the animals!
