Travis and I also took Emily to the Murray Park Center pool. Emily loved it. She was so brave too. It was so much fun, I think we are going to go back for some swimming lessons this summer!

Emily wasn't a huge fan of cake and traded it for a string cheese. What a healthy girl!
After cake and ice cream. Emily opened her gifts. She got lots of fun stuff. Musical instruments, a piano, clothes, a four wheeler, a play center and lots more.
We have a tradition in our family that you wake up on your birthday and your room is decorated. Emily was really excited about the Balloons!

This is Emily's adorable tent that her Aunt Hilary made for her. Emily loves it. She likes to sit in there and read and play with her toys. Thanks Hil..you out did yourself again!

I then put string throughout the house...Travis and Emily had to follow it to find their Valentine's Day gifts.

Then we had a nice Spaghetti dinner...all three (four) of us. Hudson had some too. 
I went and took Emily a couple weeks ago to get her 1 year pictures taken. We went to FotoFly in Draper. She was not really sure about the whole thing and really did not find the photographer funny. The pictures turned out cute though. I was worried since she wasn't very happy.
Happy 1st Birthday Emily. We love you so much. This last year has been amazing. You have brought so much joy and happiness to our family. It has been so great to see how much you have learned over this last year. We are excited to see what this year brings.
